Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the QRBase platform, including its puzzle game mechanics, token systems, campaigns, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using QRBase—whether as a player, partner, or visitor—you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

1. Overview of QRBase

QRBase is a blockchain-based interactive puzzle platform where QR codes are transformed into sliding tile games. Players solve puzzles to earn rewards, while partner communities embed their token identities into gameplay and run incentive campaigns.

QRBase operates as a two-sided platform connecting players and partner communities.

Players

  • Solve QR-based sliding puzzles

  • Earn $SCAN tokens

  • Participate in Scan Mode competitions

  • Progress through levels and leaderboards

Partners

  • Pay to embed token logos inside puzzle QR images

  • Launch Scan Mode campaigns with USDC prize pools

  • Promote tokens through gameplay exposure and tasks

QRBase is deployed on blockchain infrastructure including Base (L2), Zora, and Farcaster integrations.

QRBase is not a financial service, investment platform, or guarantee of profit.

2. Eligibility and User Responsibility

By using QRBase, you confirm that:

  • You meet the legal age requirements in your jurisdiction

  • You are responsible for complying with applicable laws related to digital assets

  • You fully control and are responsible for your wallet and transactions

QRBase:

  • Does not perform identity verification

  • Does not restrict access by jurisdiction

  • Does not monitor legality of use per user location

You are solely responsible for lawful participation.

3. Gameplay Mechanics

QRBase provides a puzzle game where:

  • A QR code is divided into a 3×3 sliding tile puzzle

  • Players must solve it within a time limit

  • Successful completion results in:

    • On-chain reward distribution (if eligible)

    • Progress toward community milestones

Key Rules

  • Tiles move only into an adjacent empty slot

  • No diagonal moves allowed

  • Failure to solve results in no reward

Attempts

  • Players receive daily free attempts

  • Additional attempts may be:

    • Purchased using $SCAN

    • Earned via tasks or referrals

All attempt usage is final once initiated.

4. Tokens and Digital Assets

4.1 $SCAN Token

$SCAN is a utility token used within the QRBase ecosystem.

It may be used to:

  • Purchase additional gameplay attempts

  • Access certain campaign features

  • Participate in platform mechanics

$SCAN is not:

  • A financial instrument

  • An investment contract

  • A claim to ownership or equity in QRBase

Its value is determined by external market conditions.

4.2 Partner Tokens

Partner tokens:

  • Are embedded visually into puzzle QR images

  • Belong to partner communities, not individual users

  • Are used for campaign participation requirements

QRBase does not:

  • Issue or control partner tokens

  • Guarantee their value, legitimacy, or availability

4.3 USDC and Payments

USDC is used for:

  • Partner campaign funding

  • Boost purchases

  • Task promotion fees

All payments:

  • Are processed on-chain

  • Are sent to the QRBase treasury wallet

  • Are irreversible once confirmed

4.4 Wallet Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • Managing your wallet

  • Safeguarding private keys

  • Approving transactions

QRBase:

  • Never requests private keys

  • Cannot reverse blockchain transactions

5. Rewards and Distribution

Rewards within QRBase include:

  • $SCAN token rewards for puzzle completion

  • USDC rewards from Scan Mode campaigns

Important Conditions

  • Rewards are distributed on-chain

  • Eligibility depends on:

    • Gameplay success

    • Wallet connection

    • Campaign requirements

  • If no wallet is connected:

    • Gameplay may still be recorded

    • Rewards may not be delivered

QRBase does not guarantee:

  • Reward availability

  • Reward timing

  • Reward quantity

6. Scan Mode Campaigns

Scan Mode is a community-based reward mechanism where:

  • Every puzzle generated on a token with an active Scan Mode campaign counts as one delivered game toward campaign progress — regardless of win or loss

  • As delivered games accumulate, a hidden QR code is progressively revealed

  • Once fully revealed, eligible players can scan it and claim from the USDC prize pool

Campaign Conditions

Each campaign may define:

  • Token holding requirements

  • Minimum gameplay participation

  • Prize pool size

QRBase does not guarantee:

  • That users will qualify

  • That users will win

  • That campaigns will complete successfully

7. Partner Services

QRBase offers services to partners, including:

  • Token logo embedding

  • Puzzle listing (Tier 1)

  • Scan Mode campaigns (Tier 2)

  • Boost placements

  • Promoted tasks

All partner services:

  • Require payment (typically in USDC)

  • Are activated only after on-chain verification

  • May be subject to availability and scheduling

QRBase does not guarantee:

  • User engagement levels

  • Campaign performance

  • Marketing outcomes

8. Anti-Abuse and Fair Use

QRBase may implement systems to prevent abuse, including:

  • Sybil resistance mechanisms

  • Account credibility scoring

  • Practice mode restrictions

Users identified as abusing the system may:

  • Be restricted from rewards

  • Be excluded from campaigns

QRBase reserves the right to enforce fair use policies at its discretion.

9. No Financial Guarantees

QRBase does not provide:

  • Investment opportunities

  • Financial advice

  • Guaranteed earnings

  • Stable token value

All participation is:

  • Voluntary

  • At your own risk

10. Technical Risks

Using QRBase involves risks including:

  • Blockchain network delays or failures

  • Smart contract vulnerabilities

  • Wallet compatibility issues

  • Market volatility

  • Third-party service dependencies (e.g., Farcaster, APIs)

QRBase is not liable for losses resulting from:

  • Failed transactions

  • Token price changes

  • User errors

  • External system failures

11. Intellectual Property

All QRBase content, including:

  • Game mechanics

  • Branding and design

  • Platform interface

  • Smart contract structures

is owned by QRBase or its licensors.

Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution is prohibited.

12. Data and Privacy

QRBase may process limited data including:

  • Wallet interactions

  • On-chain activity

  • Gameplay analytics

QRBase does not control:

  • Third-party wallets

  • Blockchain networks

  • External APIs

You are responsible for reviewing third-party privacy policies.

13. Platform Modifications

QRBase may update or modify at any time:

  • Game mechanics

  • Token utility

  • Reward systems

  • Campaign structures

  • Fees and pricing

  • These Terms

Changes may occur without prior notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Principles

These Terms are governed by general principles of digital asset usage and international commercial practices. Jurisdiction may be specified in the future.
